The Church of the Holy Communion, Charleston, is the only orthodox Anglo-Catholic parish in the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina. While other parishes there have aspects of Anglo-Catholicism, the diocese as a whole is traditionally Low Church; Holy Communion parish is the only one that is self-identified as Anglo-Catholic in all expressions, doctrinally, morally and liturgically in ritual. The church is also staffed by two priests of the Society of the Holy Cross.
